Calvin Eugene Gene Crotzer

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday December 2nd at St. Peters Catholic Church for Calvin Eugene Gene Crotzer, 58, of Roswell, who passed away on November 27, 2008 at his home. Fr. Paul Juniet O.F.M. of St. Peters Catholic Church will officiate. Interment will follow the service at South Park Cemetery.

Gene was born on April 6, 1952 in Hayward, CA to Calvin Tunney Crotzer and Margaret Joan Walch. His mother survives him. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, the Eagles, and The Office. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and avid Harley Davidson rider. He lived to ride, and rode to live. He was a teacher, mentor, brother, best friend and a gourmet grill master chef extraordinaire. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

His survivors include his sons; Scott E. Crotzer, and Chris L. Crotzer both of Denver, CO, and Brian A. Crotzer of Castle Rock, CO, and his sisters; Joanne Rusk of Laurel, MD, Patricia Gutierrez of Salina, KS, and Elizabeth Adams of Grand Junction, CO. He is also survived by his two grandchildren Jaden Michelle Crotzer, and Brody Andrew Crotzer.

Pallbearers will be Chris Crotzer, Brian Crotzer, Mark Hernes, Billy Johns, Dick Davis, and Phil Bowman.
