Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2007 at South Park Cemetery for Cad N. Scott, 90, of Roswell who passed away Sunday, October 21, 2007 at his home. Pastor Melvin Rigsby of First Church of the Nazarene will officiate.

Cad was born on October 16, 1917 to Charles A. Scott and Ada McDonnal Scott in Donely County, Texas. His parents have preceded him in death as well as his wife Cora Ila Scott, one son: Dennis Scott, two brothers: Virgil Scott and Doyce Scott and one sister Felira Mabry.

Cad is survived by his sons: Darwin Scott, and Gordon Scott; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Cad served in the United States Marine Corps and was a veteran of World War II.

Cad worked as a carpenter and a Millright. He was of the Nazarene faith and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
