A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Highland Baptist Church for Bobby Otis Kirby Baby Boy Kirby, 52 of Roswell who went home to be with his maker on June 15, 2008. Pastor Richard Smith of Highland Baptist Church will officiate in which he was also a member

Bobby was born August 26, 1955 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents Otis Kane Kirby and Betty Louise Edwards.

He served his country in the Marines. Bobby lived in Roswell for the last seven years. He was a cook at Woodys Truck Stop and Prices Truck Stop. Bobby also drove trucks for 30 years Coast to Coast before retirement. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycles, collecting different stuff.

Bobby also loved doing things for his friends and family and had many friends who loved and cared for him.

He is survived by his son: Alex Otis Kirby of Detroit, Michigan; his daughters: Melissa Ann Kirby of Detroit, Michigan, Jennifer Doedeen Brooks of Roswell and Melinda Jo Wilkinson of Roswell; his brother: Wayne Kirby of Detroit, Michigan; sister; Ruth Rice of Boston, Mass.; and 5 grandchildren.
