Graveside services are scheduled for 11:30 A.M., Monday, October 28, 2013 at South Park Cemetery for Billy Dean Lee, 80, who passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Pastor Rick Hale of Grace Community Church will be officiating. Roswell Veterans Honor Guard will conduct military honors.
Billy was born June 26, 1933 in Taft, Texas to Samuel Lee and Dora Newton. His parents preceded him in death along with his siblings Henry Lee Sam W. Jr. Lee, William Pete Lee, Katie Juanita Sis Lee Buster and James Judd Lee. Billy married Louise M. Aderholt on February 4, 1954. She survives him of the family home in Roswell.
Billy is also survived by his daughters Sheila E. Lee, Betty Jean Seeley and husband David and Rhonda Kay Keeme and husband Charlie twin brother Bobby Gene Lee grandchildren Billy Karl Bailey and wife Crystal, Amanda Louise Brown, Sean Lee Foster, Robert Bobby G. Seeley and his wife Gayle and Matthew Everett Seeley great grandchildren Rhett Wade, Aiden, Darius, and Mason Danger and many nieces and nephews.
Billy fought for his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He retired from Civil Service as a Port Director. Billy loved camping and fishing with his family. He was an honest, good hearted man that loved to joke around and laugh. Nothing mattered more to him than his family. His grandkids were his world. He had a wonderful fulfilling 80 years of life and spent it with his one true love for 64 years. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him and knew him.
