Betty Arias

A rosary for Betty A. Arias, 83, will be at 12:30 pm, Friday, December 23, 2016 at St. Peters Catholic Church with Funeral Mass to follow at 1:00 pm, Fr. Charlie Martinez will be officiating. The family will be accepting visitation from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel.

Born in Loving, NM on October 15, 1933 to Cruz and Francisca Apodaca who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband Rafael M. Arias; son Rafael Arturo Arias; sisters Nora Franco and Mary Apodaca; brother Cruz Apodaca Jr., and son-in-law Frank Little.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Christina Little, her children Stephanie Alley, Christy Little, Frank Little and Matthew Little and wife Moni all of Roswell; son Albert Arias and wife Carol of Roswell, their children Zac Arias of Roswell, Zane Arias of Socorro, Zoie Gonzales of Roswell; son Alfred Arias of Espanola, NM; son Adrian Arias and wife Yvette of Roswell and daughter Angela Renneke and husband Richard of Los Alamos. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brothers Benito Apodaca and wife Maggie of Roswell, Perfecto Apodaca and wife Alice of California, Ewaldo Apodaca and wife Beatrice of Roswell; sisters Della Quintanilla of Roswell and Evelyn Gosciminski and husband Wade of California.
