A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at St. Peters Catholic Church for Benny P. Tartaglia, 85, of Roswell who passed away on January 12, 2009 at a local care center. Fr. Paul Juniet O.F.M will officiate.
Benny was born on November 14, 1923 in Metuchen, New Jersey to Francis Tartaglia and Antonette Currano. His parents both preceded him in death.
On November 11, 1950 he married Gilda Arcuri in W. Newton, Massachusetts. She survives him at the family home. Benny served our country in the U.S. Air Force during WWII, and the Korean War. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Other survivors include his brothers, Salvatore Tartaglia of Massachusetts, and Francis Tartaglia of New Jersey.
