Barbara Dotson

A funeral service is scheduled at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Barbara S. Dotson, 76, who passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Lovelace Medical Center. Pastor Troy Grant of Berrendo Baptist Church will be officiating.

Barbara was born December 1, 1938 to Harold and Genevieve Treutel in Wisconsin Rapids, WI; both of whom have preceded her in death. She has two brothers Fred and Christopher Treutel and two sisters Kathleen and Rose Marie Treutel.

She deeply loved her two sons and cherished the time she spent with them. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life and spending her time, energy, and money to spoil them was her past time. There was no sporting event too small or item too big and she showered them in her praise and adoration. They were her profound and consuming love. Barbara was a member of the Roswell Senior Circle and took annual trips to Nevada for fun and sun 2 or 3 times a year.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Wallace Dotson; grandchildren, David and Daniel Taschner; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Garrick, Brynleigh, Luke, Parker, Graysen and Brogan Taschner. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her sons, Christopher and Jeffrey Taschner.
