Archie Ernest Troublefield
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Ballard Funeral Home for Archie Ernest Troublefield, 84, who passed away December 4, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM. Burial will follow in Hagerman Cemetery.
Archie was born April 4, 1923 in Hubbard, TX. He married Melba Jarnagin in July 2, 1943.
Archie enter the army in 1943 and was a veteran of WWII in the Pacific Campaign. He was awarded the Purple Heart after his service in the Military for 3 years. After his service he returned to California to live and work. He then retired after working for Hunt Wesson as a truck driver for 25 years. He moved to Artesia NM in 1976 and became a truck driver hauling hay to horse ranches in Texas. In 1980 to 1986 he helped establish Big T Tire and Big T Auto Sales, in Artesia, NM with his son Gary Troublefield. Archie spent his later years in Roswell, NM where he enjoyed dancing and visiting with friends at the senior center.
Archie is survived by his daughter: Judy Bernards; his son: Gary E. Troublefield; hisgrandchildren: Hollie Bernards, Jeremy Bernards, Gary Troublefield II, Joel Bernards, Colleen Troublefield; Great grandchildren: Dawson Maye , Dojo Bernards, Aspen Maye, and Josephine Bernards.
