Antonina DeCoss

In loving memory of Antonina Gutierrez De Coss, a beloved and cherished daughter, mother, and grandmother who touched the lives of all who knew her. She was born on April 30, 1920, in Municipio de Cuzi, CHH, Mexico, and peacefully passed away on August 3, 2024, in Roswell, NM, surrounded by her loving family. Antonina was of White race and identified proudly as a Hispanic woman of Mexican descent.

Antonina dedicated her life to her family and home, finding fulfillment in caring for her loved ones as a dedicated homemaker. She shared her love, wisdom, and kind spirit with those around her, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is survived by her daughter Victalia Garcia and her sons, Socorro and Maurilio Coss and several granddaughters and grandsons. Memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

The funeral services to honor Antonina's life will be held at St. John's Church on August 9, 2024, at 10:00 am, where a Mass will be celebrated in her memory. The evening prior, a Rosary will be recited at Ballard Chapel on August 8, 2024, at 7:00 pm, with a public viewing for friends and family starting at 3:00 pm on the same day.

Antonina's final resting place will be in Roswell, NM, where she will be buried on August 9, 2024, at 12:00 pm, in the presence of those who loved her dearly. Her life may have come to an end, but the memories of her warmth, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. May she rest in peace.
