Funeral Services for Antonia Toni A. Sena, 92, have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Ballard Funeral Home with burial to follow at South Park Cemetery. Antonia went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at Mission Arch Health Care Center.

Antonia was born on December 10, 1916 in Fort Sumner to Escolastico Alarid and Conrada Zamora. She married Manuel G. Sena on February 14, 1938 in Santa Rosa, NM. Preceding her in death is her loving husband, Manuel G. Sena, her children Raymond Sena, Bonnie, Sena, and Elena Sena, three sisters and three brothers. BRBR

She is survived by her loving children, son Leo Sena, and daughter Linda Pantoja and husband Robert Pantoja all of Roswell; a brother Charlie Alarid of Roswell; two daughter-in-laws, Judy Sena of Carlsbad and Edith Sena of El Paso, Texas. She is survived by her grandchildren, Manuel Sena, Lana Candelaria, Darren, Roberta, Paul, and Robert Pantoja, Terry McGonagill and LaDell Miller; 18 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, and nephews.

Antonia was a homemaker in Roswell. She was a member of Trinidad Community Baptist Church. She worked as a Foster Grandparent at Parkview Elementary School for many years. She was also a member of the Joy Center and the Salvation Army Home League.

Pallbearers will be Darren Pantoja, Manuel Sena, Paul Pantoja, Manuel Pantoja, Gino Sena, and Tomas Alarid.

Antonia enjoyed being with her family. She was a faithful and loving child of the Lord and loved reading her Bible daily. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her and loved her.

The family would like to thank the staff at Mission Arch for their care and Hospice for ensuring that Mother was comfortable during those difficult times.
