Anthony Imburgia

Anthony J. Imburgia, 86, passed away peacefully in his home Friday November 03, 2017. Tony was born in Chicago, IL on June 05, 1931 and was a long-time resident of Roswell, NM.

He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 56 years Alice White; brother August; and sisters Rosemary and Carmella (Babe). He is survived by his 3 loving daughters Theresa (Tracy) Hancock and Bill, Christina and Stephanie as well as 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Tony and his wife were active volunteers with many organizations especially within Assumption Parish and the Knights of Columbus. As a member of the Roswell community they made many friends who meant the world to them and for which their family will be forever grateful. They were loved and will be sorely missed.

A Rosary will be celebrated on Friday November 17, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Assumption Catholic Church with a Funeral Mass to follow at 2:00 PM. Per Tony's wishes he will be cremated with an inurnment to take place at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton IL later next spring.
