Anne Paschall

Anne Marie Ewoldt Paschall passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, February 8. She was 92 years of age and had been a resident of Avamere Assisted Living in Rio Rancho near Albuquerque, NM.

Anne was born June 15,1932 to Frank and Roma Ewoldt in Eldridge, Iowa.

She graduated from Davenport High School in May,1950 where she was active in numerous pursuits, among them, the 4H Society. She attended Iowa State College in Ames and later Eastern NM University in Roswell. Anne was married to Horace Jackson from 1953 to 1965. This marriage produced a daughter, Julia Anne and two sons, Jeffry Andrew and Joel Ewoldt. In 1971, Anne married Harrell Paschall and they formed a blended family with Anne’s three children and his four sons, Johnny, Donnie, Dennis and Paul.  Professionally, Anne served as the Director of Head Start for over twenty years. Anne was devoted to the care of all God’s children and greatly loved her friends, family and her Church. Anne loved the adventure of living and pursued life with great energy and enthusiasm. She loved vivid colors and New Mexico sunsets, beautiful clothes and always nurtured within herself the wonder of knowing God in a personal way.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her sister Elda, her son Jeffry, her stepson Donnie and grandson, Lance. She is survived by her sister, Sandra Hamann (Dale) and her two children, Julia Ponder(Mark) and Joel Jackson. She is further survived by her previously mentioned stepsons and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews and two great grandchildren.

The family requests that any remembrance of Anne’s life be made to her beloved church, St Mark’s Lutheran Church, 2911 N. Main St., Roswell NM.
