Anna Lee Giron Lara

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 5, 2008 at Waymaker Church for Anna Lee Giron Lara, 39 of Roswell who passed away November 28, 2008 in an automobile accident. Pastor Mike Knowlton of Waymaker Church will officiate. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Anna was born on April 26, 1969 in Roswell, New Mexico to George Giron and Diana Montoya. Her parents survive her.

Anna is survived by her father: George Giron and wife Norma of Roswell; her mother: Diana Montoya and husband Pete of El Paso, TX; her fianc: Mike Brakeman of Roswell; her sons: Duane R. Garcia of Roswell and Andrew Garcia of Roswell; her brothers: John Giron and wife Veronica and their children: Justice and Jordan all of Los Lunas, NM, Larry J. Giron and his children Avyanna and Kathlyn and David Rodriguez and his wife Laura and their children David Jr., Dominic and Elijah all of Roswell; here sisters: Jeannette Otero of Ruidoso, NM and her children Arianna and Mattew; Rene Montoya of Arizona and her children Jordan and Josian; Jeanette Montoya of Roswell and her daughter: Josephine; and Jeannette Rodriguez and fiance Stephen and their son William of Roswell; her brother in law: Felipe Morales and his children Felipe, Natalie and Raymond; her grandmother: Josephine Montoya of Roswell;

Proceeded in death by her daughter: Chloe Rae Lara; her sister: Denise B. Montoya; her grandparents: Pete T. Montoya, Jean B. Lara, Eliseo and Olympia Giron and Manuelita and Alfredo Velasquez.

Anna graduated from Roswell High School in 1987. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and auntie. Anna had a heart like no one else. She always had a smile and a sparkle in her eye that let you know you were special to her. She loved writing poetry, camping, and being with her family.
