Andy Daniels

Andy Daniels, 64, of Roswell, NM, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014 in Albuquerque, NM.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Grace Community Church. Pastor Rick Hale will officiate. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery with Robert Barnett, brotherinlaw, officiating.

Andy was born July 6, 1950 in Albany, New York, to James and Isabelle Daniels. His parents preceded him in death. Andy is survived by his wife Karma, his daughter Jennifer and her husband Dan, their children Christian and Caleb, along with his son, Brian all of Roswell. He is also survived by numerous other family members.

Andy graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1969 in Amarillo, Texas. He attended Texas Tech University. On February 18, 1972 Andy married Karma Barnett Daniels in Lubbock, Texas. Andy and Karma moved to Roswell in 1974 to work at Barnetts Fine Flooring, which is the family business. He eventually became owner and continued to expand the family company.

Andy was a family man who loved spending time with his wife, children, soninlaw and grandchildren. Andy was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was an amazing cook and an avid gardener and reader. Andy delighted in playing with his grandchildren and making them laugh. Andy had a very outgoing personality and a fantastic sense of humor. He was a friend to everyone who knew him.

Andy was a born again Christian who loved and served God faithfully. He expressed an assurance of his salvation and was not afraid of death as he voiced his complete peace and certainty of his home in Heaven.
