Allen Tice

Allen Tice, 63, beloved father, husband, and grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on April 16, 2023. He entered this world on February 12, 1960, in Marysville, CA, born to Alton and Artie Tice. Allen was a resident of Artesia, NM, where he was a truck driver for Groendyke Transportation.

He is survived by his children and their respective spouses; daughters: Gabby Tyler, Melissa Boydston, Sarah Jacobs, Rebecca Tice and Summer Scott; as well as his sons: Daniel Dowing, Thomas Tice, Wesley Tice, and Jeremy Lindbloom. Allen will also be greatly missed by his 40 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents: Alton and Artie Tice; his wife: Crystal Tice; brothers: Jerry Tice and David Essery; sisters: Frances Steck, Sandra Barbour, and Sylvia Collins, and his daughter: Mary Douglas.

Services are to be held at Ballard Funeral Home, located at 910 S Main St, Roswell, NM on Friday, April 21, 2023. There will be a viewing from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Funeral services will begin directly after at 1:00PM. A Celebration of Life will be held for Allen at 4:00PM following the funeral service. The celebration will be held at the Serenity Club, located at 1000 E Bland St, Roswell, NM. Please join us to celebrate and honor our father.
