Alicia Medina Mendoza

A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 3, 2008 at the Ballard Chapel for Alicia Medina Mendoza, 68, of Roswell who passed away, June 30, 2008 at her residence. A Jehovah Witness Minister will officiate. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Alicia was born on March 17, 1940 in Janos, Chihuahua, Mexico to Pedro Medina Gonzalez and Isabel Mendoza Medina. Her mother survives her.

Alicia is also survived by her brothers: Emilio Medina of Mexico, Antonio Medina of Mexico, Pedro Medina of Roswell and Manuel Medina of Roswell; her sisters: Elvira Garcia of California, Lidia Lawrence of Roswell, Socorro Medina of Mexico, Mague Medina of Mexico, Rosa Luz Vasquez of Roswell and Juana Castillo of Arizona.

Alicia was a person full of life and always ready to help others. She was always happy to be surrounded by her family. She enjoyed cooking for others. She also had Bible studies with the Jehovahs Witness, and to give out the word to others about a new world where resurrection will occur to all who follow the word of Jehovah. Her desire will become time based on Revelations 21:3-4

Pallbearers will be Manuel Vasquez, Manuel Medina, Pedro Medina, Rigo Medina, Pedro Natra and Event Medina.
