Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Monday, March 12, 2012 at Ballard Chapel, for Albesa N. Sanchez, 62, who passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Sunset Villa Care Center. Pastor Rito Castillo will be officiating with burial to follow at South Park Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at 700 W. Country Club Road following the services. A viewing is scheduled from 9 am to 9:30 am, Monday, March 12, 2012.

Albesa was born April 28, 1949 in Carlsbad, N.M. to Bonifacio and Marcelina Navarrette Sanchez. Both parents preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her brother Juan N. Sanchez and her sisters Dolores S. Hernandez, and Lydia S. Ortega.
She is survived by her brothers Bonificio Sanchez Jr., Joe Sanchez, Manuel Sanchez, Frank Sanchez and Raymond Sanchez of Roswell, Antonio Sanchez of Hagerman, Jimmy Sanchez of Artesia, Santos N. Sanchez of Las Cruses, and Sammy N. Sanchez of Carlsbad and numerous nieces and nephews.
Albesa lived at the Door of Opportunity in Artesia, NM for twelve years three of those years were school. She loved the independence she felt at the Door Albesa loved all her family dearly.

Pallbearers will be Marty Hernandez, Santos H. Sanchez, Isreal Sanchez, Johnny Sanchez, Frankie Sanchez, and Jaime Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers will be all her friends at the Door.
