Alberto Beto S. Tegeda

A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Ballard Funeral Chapel for Alberto Beto S. Tegeda, 78, of Roswell who passed away on November 22, 2008 at his residence. A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at St. Johns Catholic Church. Fr. Juan Montoya O.F.M. of St. Johns Catholic Church will officiate. Interment will take place at Memory Lawn Memorial Park.

Beto was born on January 16, 1930 in Bloomington, Texas to Leopoldo Tegeda and Maria Concepcion Tegeda. They both preceded him in death.

On June 18, 1949 he married Ninfa Brady. Together they had eight children. She also preceded him in death.

Beto was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church. He loved hunting and fishing. His favorite TV show was Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

He is survived by his sons; Frank Tegeda and his wife Linda of Roswell, Nickie Tegeda and his wife Rosemary of Roswell, Dickie Tegeda of Roswell, Bobby Tegeda and his girlfriend Eve Lopez of Ruidoso, NM, and Tito Tegeda and his wife Gloria of Roswell, his daughters: Albertina Silva and her husband Emilio of Roswell, Lena Tegeda of Carlsbad, and Delphina Tova and her husband Victor of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Tegeda, Sergio Tegeda, Julian Tegeda, Nick Tegeda Jr. Gabriel Tovar and Steven Torres. Honorary pallbearers will be Dickie Tegeda, Jaime Torres, and Billy Brady.
