Adeline Alice Sutherland

A rosary is to be recited at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 1, 2008 at the Ballard Funeral Home. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00p.m., Monday, June 2, 2008 at South Park Cemetery for Adeline Alice Sutherland, 46 of Roswell who passed away May 24, 2008 at a local care center. Pastor Robert Gibson will officiate. Visitation will be on Sunday June 1, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Monday, June 2, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. till service time.

Adeline was born on April 23, 1962 in Roswell, New Mexico to Walter Scott Sutherland and Noberta V. Sutherland. Her parents have preceded her in death.

Adeline married Orlando Armendariz. He survives her.

Adeline is survived by her son Richard Gibson and wife Sonia of Albuquerque; her daughters: Ashley Gibson of Roswell, Alexa Gibson, Vanessa Armendariz of El Paso, TX; her brothers: John Sutherland, Scott Sutherland, Dario Sutherland, Ivan Sutherland and wife Bertha all of Roswell; her sisters: Cookie Soto of Roswell and Shiela Vargas of Houston, TX; as well as six grandchildren and one on the way.

Adeline was a life long resident of Roswell and was a home maker. She was a member of the Sertoma Bingo Club of Roswell. She attended the Church on the Move. She was loved by everyone who ever met her and live everyday to the fullest.
