Adelina M. Connell

A rosary will be held at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Ballard Funeral Home for Adelina M. Connell, 84, who passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020 in Roswell. Funeral services will be held at also at Ballard Funeral Home, Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Ballard Funeral Home.

Adelina was born April 4, 1936 in Alamogordo, NM to Martin Medina and Aurora Ulibarri who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband John Connell Sr.; son John Connell Jr.; brothers Fernando Medina, Jimmy Chavez and Benny Chavez and sisters Bessie Aragon, Carman Aragon and Patsy.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son Randy Connell; daughters Debbie Connell, Doris Tapia and Susie Connell; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.

God Took Another Angel Home

You laid there in that hospital bed;

God was calling you home. He needed

But it was time for you to fly home.

Your loved ones came to say their last goodbyes,

To tell you they loved you and that you will be forever missed.

As your heartbeat stopped and your eyes slowly closed

God took another angel home.
