Salvador Jaramillo

A rosary is scheduled for 6 pm, Monday, November 3, 2014 at St. Johns Catholic Church for Salvador Jaramillo, 79, who passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 at home surrounded by his love ones. A mass is scheduled for 10 am, Tuesday, November 4, 2014 also at St. Johns Catholic Church with Father Edwardo Espinosa, OFM officiating. Salvador will be cremated according to his wishes and his ashes will be buried at a later date.

Salvador was born March 8, 1935 in Roswell, NM to Faustino M. Jaramillo and Andrea Villescas whom preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by two brothers Chencho Jaramillo and Danny Jaramillo.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Beatrice Jaramillo of Roswell, NM Rudy Jaramillo of Rancho Cucamonga, CA daughters Angela Jaramillo of Rio Rancho, NM and Sally Candelaria and husband David of Rio Rancho, NM brother Junior Jaramillo and wife Virgie of El Paso, TX sisters Sara McCurley of Fruta, CO, Martha Sanchez of Albuquerque, NM, Virgie Romero and husband Frank, Juanita Ramirez, Ceci Acosta, Vicky Gonzalez all of Roswell, NM and Carmen Chavez and husband Richard of Albuquerque, NM and granddaughter Valerie Arianna Candelaria.

Salvador was a lifelong resident of Roswell whose career in sales brought him in touch with thousands of people throughout the Pecos Valley and formulated many lasting friendships. He enjoyed volunteering with the Senior Olympic for many years and also at the Joy Center. Salvador was always willing to help his fellow man but his main concern was his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew him.
