Mark Haley

Mark Glen Haley went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 29, 2014, after a valiant struggle with cancer. Mark was born December 25, 1972 to Darryl Haley and Barbara Thompson. Mark was 42 years old. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2014 at Ballard Funeral Home Crematory Chapel.

Mark attended Monterrey Elementary School, Mountain View Middle School, and Roswell High School where he graduated in 1992. He was active in YMCA soccer, youth basketball, cross country track team, and a DECCA team member. Marks true loves were hunting and fishing. He also loved spending time with his children and being a mentor, not to only his kids but others as well.

Mark is survived by his wife Dee Brown Haley, and his four children Briana Elrod, Chandler Haley Shaun Haley and Peyton Haley. He is also survived by his parents Darryl and Susan Haley of Roswell and mother Barbara Bennett Thompson of Alamogordo His siblings Ryan Haley Blake Thompson and wife Danielle Morgan Scott and husband Tyler and Jodi Miller and husband Donavan. Nieces and Nephews Ava Scott Reagan Miller Kylyn Thompson Dylan Thompson and Rhett Thompson. His grandparents Joe and Betty Peters, and his aunts and uncles Doris Thornbro Wayne and Sue Haley Dwight and Debby Haley Jane and Bill Willis Peggy and Ronnie Richburg Nona and Harold Barwick Saundra and Cal Whiteside Connie and John Coffman and Don Peters. He also has many cousins and friends who loved him very much. Mark has four special friends who will miss him greatly: Jeff Hernandez Kevin White and Nicole and Charles Wilson.

Meeting Mark in Heaven are his grandparents, Glen and Beth Haley, Frank Bennett, and James and Florise Cotton.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Marks aunt and uncle, Jayne and Bill Willis for all their help and care over these last few months.
