Louis Archuleta

A memorial service is scheduled for 1 pm, Friday, March 6, 2015 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Louis Archuleta, 63, who passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at his home. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Louis was born August 15, 1951 in Roswell, NM to Guillermo Archuleta and Helen Acevedo Archuleta who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents Sara and Jose Miguel Archuleta and Lily and Frank Acevedo; daughter Fatima Archuleta; sisters Libby (Olivia) Archuleta and Virginia Flores and brother Rudy Archuleta.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons Robert (Walter) Sanchez and wife Raquel and their children of Roswell, son Felipe Armendariz of Wisconsin; sisters Sylvia Archuleta and Rosemary (Rosa) Archuleta of Roswell; favorite uncles Serafin Archuleta and Gilbert Acevedo; grandchildren Sirena Ramirez and Emilano Armendariz, great grandchildren Emani Luna Ramirez and special nephew and niece Andrew Munoz and Nija Archuleta. Also surviving him are numerous nieces, nephews and many family members.

Louis was a hard worker all his life doing construction. He was always busy doing little projects or whatever he could get his hands dirty on. Louis's favorite thing to do was spending quality time with his sister Sylvia and son Robert. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
