Carole Ann (Bailey) Chambers

Carole Ann Chambers passed away unexpectedly at her home and went to her heavenly home on November 6, 2022. She was born on August 21, 1937. A viewing is scheduled from 2-5 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2022, at Ballard Funeral Home. A celebration of Life will be January 7, 2023 in Sparta, WI.

Carole Ann Chambers was born in Warrens, WI, August 21, 1937, to Paul and Myrtle (Goetzka) Bailey. She was united in marriage to Delmer Chambers on June 8, 1987 in Warrens, WI.

She was a caregiver at the Milwaukee Hospital, Rolling Hills Nursing Home, Sparta, WI, Veterans Administration Hospital, Tomah, WI, before retiring as a clerical worker from Fort McCoy. They moved to New Mexico to fulfill their dream of having a homestead and many animals! She worked many jobs there as well. Many of their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren enjoyed summers visiting and going on many adventures. Carole was a faithful servant of the Lord and brought many to know the Lord as well.

She was preceded in death by both parents, a sibling Dale Bailey, a grandson Timothy Bailey and many sisters and brothers in law.

Those left to cherish and carry on her memory are her husband of 35 years, Delmer D. Chambers of Hagerman;  6 children, Jeffrey Bailey; Las Vegas, NV, Joanne Slawson; Sauk City, WI, Janet Cruz; Sparta, WI, Richard Kohls; Hagerman, NM, Doug Chambers; Platt, SD, Kevin Chambers; Monett, MO, honorary adopted daughter Gina Gebhardt–Potter, siblings Pauline Evans; Viroqua, WI, Neil Bailey; Melrose. WI, Shirley Riley; Lansing, IA, grandchildren Danielle Uhlir, Bobbi McMillan, Dustin Slawson, Stephanie Sherwood, Nathan Kohls, Vegas Cruz, Jade Perron, Ashley Kohls, Maggie, Tyler, Natalie, Lacie, great grandchildren Merric, Harris, Alaina, Wyatt, Dillin, Marlee, Bebe, Brylee, Ela, Jaelyn, Liam, Caleah, Harper, a soon to be great great grandson, brother and sister in law Everett and Joanne Chambers; Valley Junction, WI and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like give a special thank you to Everett and Joanne Chambers for all their love and support for Del and Carole, to allow them to live out their lives at their dream homestead!

A celebration of life for all friends and family will be held at The Zone, 9929 WI-21, Sparta, WI on January 7, from 4:00-7:00 pm.
